Various branches of industry use machines in which ball bearings operate in water, alkali, or acids, including electrolytic baths. The characteristics of these bearings make them suitable for photo processing machines, underwater conveyor belts, automatic beverage filling machines, saltwater measuring devices, and pickling plants. These synthetic bearings can also be useful for chemical and mechanical equipment such as machines used in dyeing companies or fish processing industries. Synthetic ball bearings are primarily used in these applications.
Standard synthetic ball bearings are available in the following material combinations:

The standard range of synthetic ball bearings are designed according to DIN 625, with the exception of the edge distances. Standard single-row synthetic ball bearings are included in the standard range. Double-row synthetic ball bearings, as well as radial bearings with Z-shields, are available to order.
