Some applications require the use of special balls with flats, grooves, holes, or threads. We can produce these balls according to your designs from a variety of materials such as Si3N4 or Al2O3 ceramic, as well as from chrome steel, stainless steel, or tungsten carbide. We also offer “shoeball” balls used for certain automotive applications.
We can offer machined balls, bonded to shafts, or welded balls to meet your most demanding applications. From a design or standard, we can produce “special” balls or measuring accessories used in metrology.
These balls are often used to withstand high pressures or to act as valves or flaps. This latter function allows fluid control.
